i had read paul graham’s why to not not start a startup years earlier and it made sense. everything made sense. no experience? doesn’t matter since the best way to get experience of running a startup is to start a startup.

and then obviously you have that there are only failed startups, no failed entreprenurs. a friend told me the term ‘stock of knowledge’ and startups seem to increase that aggregate stock for the society.

so it was surprising for my brain today to stumble upon this blog - startups and emotional debt that talks about the negatives and it feels logical as well.

so it turns out that whether or not to do a startup is grey, not black or white, as with most things in life. i’ve noticed how many of my ‘extreme’ opinions have regressed to the mean over the years. every human behaviour makes sense once you have enough data.
