Interests

my interests, in no specific order, include

• math - math was the subject that came to me naturally and effortlessly. I like solving competetive math problems although I'm a bit rusty now
• statistics - i was introduced to actual statistics thanks to the actuarial science course.
• puzzles - i like solving puzzles, like jane street and cs50x puzzle day. also the project euler problems
• music - i'm learning piano. atleast trying to.
• reading - i like to read non-fiction books
• neuroscience - the brain fascinates me. i have surface level knowledge but it seems fun
• game theory - you could say all this is signalling and i wouldn't argue
• ai - to whom i owe partial um ok majority of the credits of this website
• india - specifically how to solve its problems and help it grow. i need to learn a lot though
• longetivity - i figured whatever it is i want to do, the prerequisite is being alive
• exercise - i've recently started weight training. i wish to complete a marathon and hopefully an ultra marathon someday
• animal rights - i'm guilty i haven't done my part. i feel future humans will look upon our current treatment of animals as we currently look upon the holocaust
• trekking - there's something magical about trekking and the mountains. its fun to once in a while live like we're biologically programmed to. i've summited kedarkantha and brahmatal. i love both the nature/beauty and pushing the body aspects of trekking.
